Surface Tension
High-contrast emotion meets a hyper-gloss aesthetic. The Surface Tension collection plays with depth, texture, and light, creating a dripping, liquid-gel effect that looks vividly wet across a deep matte field.
This series was born out of a desire to channel pure Y2K nostalgia and step back into the mindset of childhood creation. Before the professional titles and the weight of being called an artist, there was just the raw love for drawing as a hobby. To honor that beginning and shake off the imposter syndrome of the early days, this collection revisits a twelve-year-old obsession: drawing water droplets on absolutely everything.
Loving how simple yet hyper-real they looked, mastering those original drops changed everything. It was the precise moment the power of light sources and shadow placement clicked, permanently unlocking an understanding of three-dimensional depth.
While each individual piece stands alone as a fragment of that memory, they are designed to connect. Multiple people can own a piece of the whole, but when brought together, they form a complete, interconnected collection.
